Paslode
Nails Use Tough Tape:
Less Scrap, Better Performance, No Flying Plastic
Vernon
Hills, IL - Paslode's specially engineered Tough Tape
nails eliminate the fragility, waste and mess of plastic
collation for contractors. Both Paslode RounDrive®
Brite and Hot Dipped Galvanized Plus nails are collated
with Tough Tape, which holds up under harsh conditions
such as wet weather. And, unlike plastic collated nails,
Tough Tape will not break if a contractor drops a strip.
Paslode
first engineered its patented paper tape collation method
in 1978. Since then, Paslode has continuously improved
manufacturing processes to develop nails that provide
consistent nail placement within the strip to reduce
or eliminate feeding problems, blank fires and jams,
and stress on the driver blade. Tough Tape allows professionals
to produce less waste and improve productivity which
in turn saves them time and money.
The
Tough Tape feature is offered with Paslode RounDrive®
nails and provides 20% more nails per strip over plastic
collated nails. This too saves loading time and improves
overall job productivity. Paslode RounDrive® nails
with Tough Tape are compatible with all Paslode pneumatic
and cordless clipped head framing nailers, and most
competitive clipped head nailers.
Paslode
environmentally-friendly Tough Tape dispenses nails
without littering worksites with discarded pieces of
plastic. The use of plastic collated nails produces
flying pieces of plastic that may strike workers and
cause slippery work surfaces. Paslode RounDrive®
won't create this litter and waste, thanks to Tough
Tape.
