About Paslode

1935 Paslode founded - Signode Steel Strapping Company's founder and president J. W. Leslie established the company and called it Paslode to describe the product line: PAcking, Shipping, LOading DEvices.
1940 Stapling Hammer - Staples driven by swinging the hammer onto the work surface. A faster way to drive staples in a variety of applications.
1959 World's First Pneumatic Tool - A light-duty tacker which increased the speed of fastening applications in the furniture industry.
1962 The Gun-Nailer® GN212 ™ - The world's first commercially accepted pneumatic nailer provided increased speed and ease for the construction industry, created higher productivity, and reduced worker fatigue.
1973 SK312 - The premier 3-1/2" nailer of its time. Designed specifically for the construction market, it was the one tool for all framing applications. The tool's versatility provided time savings and increased productivity.
1978 PL Tape - Revolutionary, patented fastener collation tape providesless breakage and waste, less debris on the job site, and minimizes flying debris for increased safety.
1986 Impulse® - The first and only cordless power framing nailer revolutionized the power fastening industry by offering the power of a pneumatic without hoses. 1987 5000 Series - Power and speed combined with better balance,lighter weight, and new depth of drive and toenailing capabilities. Made Paslode's pneumatic construction nailers easier to use.
1989 TLN ™ Fasteners - Paslode's Treated Lumber Nail was the first corrosion-resistant fastener coating made specifically for treated lumber in residential construction. TLN fasteners are superior to conventional galvanized fasteners in corrosion resistance and holding power.
1991 IM250 Trimpulse ™ - The world's only cordless finish nailer offers the power of a pneumatic without the hoses. The durable Impulse is lightweight and mobile, making it easy to get into tight places.
1992 FloorGrip ™ Fasteners - The first and only nails designed specifically to improve residential subfloor construction.
