Product Reviews

I've been using both the Framer and the Angle Bradder for over 10 yrs. now and I have found them really good. They need cleaning occasionally to get the best out of them If they don't fire it's usually pretty simple to work out. I highly recommend .

Fresh out of the box, it wouldn't work more than once every 10 shots. Cleaned and lubed it, and still no improvement. Replaced the brand new gas canister that showed 18 months left before its expiration, and it started working like a charm. I think Paslode has a quality problem with its fuel. Now that it's working, the thing is excellent!

Had the first trim nailer they offered. Worked great for many years trimming out houses. Got a new model (orange) & it also has worked fine for years. Also have the framing nailer. They;ve saved me a ton of time. No complaints.

have 2 900600 angled finish nailers, BOTHhave same problem, work when they want to.

Works when they want to. I have 2, one angled and one straight trim nailers, same problem with both. Lightly used, when new worked great. Concept is wonderful, frustration is not.

Have had both the framer and finish nailer for about 6 years. The framer is nearly indestructible, the finish nailer a little less so, but neither tool has required any more than occasional cleaning since I've had them.... most of the time the problem has been the gas cartridges...The expiration date on them is CRITICAL. Have delivered my finish nailer to the shop 3 times in 6 years because it wouldn't fire, only to have the Tech replace the cartridge and fire away. Make sure the new ones you buy have adequate life left in them, and throw the expired ones in your case away. I know it seems like a waste, but you'll save yourself a lot of frustration and time if you just do it now.- Lou in San Diego

I have shot around 3,000 nails with mine and it has been very reliable. I only use Paslode brand nails and I clean it after every 1000 nails or so.

Angle trim gun sucks never works. I have two and they never fire. Im a manager at Home depot and have spoken directly to the Reps in my store and they all have told this is an ongoing problem.

I'm borrowng a 900600 finish nailer and have done no maintenance on it. Nevertheless I've probably shot 500 nails through it with no issues whatsoever and am now online buying my own along with a framing nailer. Both are outstanding tools for the homeowner.

Gun was used for home projects. When it worked, it worked great. Unfortunately it only works intermittently. Fresh fuel cells and cleaned - didn't matter. Frustrated and ready to toss it in the trash.

I've owned and used any Paslodes now, framing and finish. They need a little maintenance which is outlined in the manual. Most of the time when watching other users have problems it is user error. Until you get used to the gun and experience these small issues it can seem hard, but these guns are well built and are amazing for what hey do. I took apart one recently at work that was an 03 model(probably never cleaned). The gun would misfire occasionally but still worked. After a complete disassembly, clean, lube, and reassemble, it works like brand new again! I find it very hard to believe that all these people having issues actually have a problem that can't be easily fixed. The guns are a very solid and simple design, which is very dependable if you take care of it every once in a while.

From the moment I used this trim nailer I was hooked, its design it very useful for contractors like myself, all my finishing and trim nailers are cordless and have 0 negative comments. Awesome products from Paslode!!!!!!!!!

Been using the framing nailer for a long time, decided to get this finish nailer. Jammed after 20 nails or so...reserving judgement until I see if this happens a lot. Jennifer R

Had my 2 framing and finish nailers for 6 years now never had a problem or misfire yet clean your guns regular and u wont have a issue was building a deck n shed in -7 Celsius and they never missed a shot dont know where I would be without them now

I've had it for several years now, and agree that it never quite worked right. Only works intermittently. Contacted Paslode once, and they admitted a problem with it and sent me a modified screen for the back, but the problem persists.

Have had the framing nailer and finish nailer for years. They still work but jamb jamb jamb.... I hate them so much there going on eBay.

I do have a problem where it only fires sometimes. It is lightly used and everything is fresh and clean. At first it was good but it's not reliable anymore.

Borrowed one from a coworker to do some trim work in the bedroom and hallway. hated to give it back, fantastic nailer. i went out last night and bought my own. i guess my air compressor and other nail guns will stay in the garage and collect dust

Piece of junk. Is intermittant and VERY frustrating to use. tech@paslode.com won't respond to my request for help. I do not recommend this to anyone unless you thrive on frustration.

I have purchased an angled nailer 900600 and a framer 900420 from the outlet and both have reqired repair in Texas and have never completed a job without constan clearing and reseating the gas. The Texas deal costs you approx. $130.00 each time they tell you if it os simple there will be no charge never happens. I am a home owner with very limited use and today was the end , our home was damaged by Hurricain Irene and I was doing some repair and took both guns with me and both would not fire despite clearing and gas repositioning and replacement. Paslode Questions is the gas expired? what nails are you using? is the gun clean? is the tip bent. FORGET IT AS A REFURB DEAL. NO MORE SHIP BACKS PERIOD. alledar3@aol.com

I bought a framing gun and angled finish nailer. Definitely worth evry cent. Fast, easy, reliable and convenient. So much more convenient than compressed air models. Cannot recommend too highly.

I have a small residential construction business and own many guns of different varieties. The Impulse angled finish nailer is on the top of the list for favorite guns, along with the Impulse 18 gauge nailer and the Impulse framing gun. All together, I own 8 Impulse guns. 3 framers, 2 16 gauge straight, 1 16 gauge angled and 2 18 gauge brad nailers. If Paslode put out a 23 gauge pin nailer, I'd sell all my compressors. Its my favorite tool!....I dont know what I would do with out it!.....and im just a homemaker..... It was worth EVERY penny of my husbands money :)

Been using my Paslode angled finish nailer for 4 years now, I am a professional window installer and own three of them.Absolutely the best finish nailer on the market, period. The three that i own have never let me down in regards to breakage or malfunctions, the only real problem with these nailers is that they stop working in cold temps (35F & under), you must keep the butane cylinders warm, once they get cold the nailer will stop working, other than that I do believe that Paslode nailers are the best on the market. My friend and I rented one from Home Depot this weekend to build a fishtank stand. Lord knows home much use and abuse that thing has been through as a rental, but that didn't seem to affect it's performance at all! Just like with any other new tool, it took a bit of getting used to and a few practice shots to make sure we knew how to properly operate the nailer, but after a few minutes we were nailing away with no effort at all. Now, if only we had one of these bad boys (the framing nailer) for the first half of the job (frame built of 2x4s) as well, that would have made life so much easier (and more fun too)! Thanks for making such a simple and useful product! ~Dave

I bought my Paslode Cordless Finish Nailer back in 1999 while building my own house. This nailer is still going strong. My brother who is a professional carpenter can't keep his hands off it. Although it does require me to clean it often since I have been lending it out more than I use it. This is a Great Finish Nailer, I would recommend it to any one thinking of buying one. I will not sell mine. Great Product. Anonymous

Best and easiest products I have ever used, I have both the framing and angle nailer and nothing out there even compares. Both make setup and clean up very easy...

The best on the market. You will be wowed with this cordless nailer

Just used one extensively yesterday putting in replacement windows and a chair rail. WOW! I was so impressed with how light, efficient, simple, and effective this tool was, especially compared to the alternative air nailers. Excellent tool!

Bought one of these from the Paslode outlet (refurbished) after using one on a Habitat for Humanity build. This nailer is fantastic!!!! Quality built, convenient, comfortable to use, and beats the heck out of beating my fingers up trying to nail trim. Highly, highly recommended!!!!
